Three Economic Stimulus Projects Celebrated
| The Honourable Steven
Fletcher, Minister of State for Democratic Reform, visited Ajax to
celebrate three economic stimulus projects which benefit the
town. The ceremony took place in Pickering Village in
recognition of federal funding under the Community Adjustment Fund
for the reconstruction of Old Kingston |
Road, which will act as a
catalyst to transform Pickering Village into a
vibrant, arts and cultural destination.
Other projects funded by the
Community Adjustment fund are the reconstruction of Fairall Street
and the development of Ajax's Economic Strategy. |
