Recently, Colleen and some
members of Council met with some Ajax-Pickering Hospital staff
to present a $250.000 cheque to support the surgery programme.
The money represents a portion of the Town's commitment to the
local hospital on behalf of Ajax's citizens.
Following the ceremony, some Councillors
suited up
to tour the facilities.
Colleen recently brought best wishes to Dorothy Newson, who
celebrated her 100th birthday at Ballycliffe Lodge. Also
attending were Rev. Ted Bartlett and Donna Lane, Dorothy's
daughter..
