Community Development Council Durham - Host Luncheon - March 30, 2008 
 
The Host Program matches newcomers to Canada with volunteers to assist them in adapting to their new country. 
 

The group is called  NACHADA  SANSAR  and the group leader’s name is  DAVINDER  SINGH LAYAL. The group performs Punjabi folk dances (which are popularly known as Bhangara)!









Colleen with Host Program Coordinator Mahmood Mustafa and Councillor Ward 2 Renrick Ashby and Punjabi Folk Dance Group that provided entertainment during the luncheon.
 
 

Ajax 'Lights Out' Party Huge Success

The 'Lights Out' Party was part of Ajax's celebration of Earth Hour, March 28, 2008. The party was held on Heritage Square.
